ABOUT
A Louisiana native, Christi Rogers grew up appreciating traditional architecture and eclectic style.
She credits her southern roots for sparking her love of design.
Christi received her bachelor's from Loyola University New Orleans in 1996 then spent several years traveling the world living in Prague, London and Paris enhancing her education and developing a world-wide view of design. She understands the common thread that creates interesting and exuberant interiors, both close to home and on a global scale.
Christi subsequently received a degree in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in
New York City in 2006. Immediately afterwards, she began a coveted apprenticeship with interior designer and New York taste maker, Jamie Drake.
As a Studio Leader, she honed her eye and skill for creating luxurious interiors for high-profile clients. While at Drake Design she designed and project managed over 25 projects: from a Parisian apartment in the Marais to a British townhome in Eaton Square, to resort villas in Aruba. During that process, she also gained years of experience in a vast array of related areas from lighting and furniture design to bespoke finishes and the top artisans who create them.
Ms. Rogers founded CRDA in 2010. Whether it is her southern upbringing or her years of experience interacting with diverse clientele and their requirements, she prides herself on listening to what clients ask for, educating and expanding their views of what is possible, to ultimately create a unique interior specific to each project. She chooses projects that challenge her ability not just to make a room look stunning in a photospread, but that serve their desired function once the photos are done and “real life” begins.
Ultimately, whether the client takes a hands-on approach or relies primarily on the talents and experience of the CRD team, Christi Rogers is a distinguished designer who understands her client's sense of style and translates this into modern luxe interiors.
