This young couple came to us in the first trimester of a pregnancy and wanted to complete their new home in time for the arrival of their baby boy. With a speedy timeline in mind, we set about modernizing this twelfth-floor penthouse with 975 square feet that had not been updated for nearly three decades. With the stunning double high windows featuring a sweeping view of downtown Manhattan as our focal point, the residence’s architecture was outfitted with a new kitchen, entry and sleek glass railing, using cool tones in plush fabrics to lend a cozy, comfortable feel to this outgoing family’s glass box in the sky.
